Who we are

Sell Your Car Quicker (www.sellyourcarquicker.com) is an independent website that helps people in the UK sell their car quickly through We Buy Any Car. It is run by Infinia Platforms, 86–90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Sell Your Car Quicker.

We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. If you have any questions about it, please email us at info@sellyourcarquicker.com.

Sell Your Car Quicker is not operated by We Buy Any Car. If you get a valuation or sell your car through We Buy Any Car, the information you give them is handled under their privacy policy, not this one.

What information we collect

• Your email address (and your name, if you choose to give it), when you join our mailing list.
• How you use our website, such as which pages you visit, roughly where in the world you are, and what type of device and browser you use. This is collected by Google Analytics using cookies.
• Technical information, such as your IP address, which our web hosting company records automatically to keep the website running securely.
• Anything you send us, if you contact us by email.

We do not take payments on this website, and we do not ask for details of your car or your finances.

How we use it, and why we're allowed to

• To send you our emails, but only if you've signed up. Our emails are only about Sell Your Car Quicker and offers relevant to selling your car. We rely on your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.
• To understand how our website is used, so we can improve it. We rely on your consent for analytics cookies.
• To keep our website secure and working properly. This is in our legitimate interests.
• To reply to you if you contact us. This is also in our legitimate interests.

We will never sell your personal information, and we will not pass it to anyone else for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers who handle information on our behalf and only as we instruct:

• AWeber, which runs our mailing list and sends our emails.
• Google, which provides Google Analytics.
• ShareThis, which provides the "Share this page" buttons.
• Our web hosting company, which stores the website.

Some of these companies store information in the United States. Where that happens, your information is protected by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.

We may also share information if the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

• Mailing list: until you unsubscribe. After that, we keep only your email address on a "do not contact" list, so we don't email you again by mistake.
• Google Analytics: no longer than 14 months.
• Emails you send us: only as long as we need them to deal with your message.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. When you first visit, we ask whether you're happy for us to use cookies for Google Analytics and for our "Share this page" buttons. We only set those cookies if you click Accept. If you click Reject, the website still works normally. Our sign-up form may also set a cookie so that it works properly.

You can change your cookie settings at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Unsubscribing

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us at info@sellyourcarquicker.com and we'll remove you.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct it if it's wrong;
• ask us to delete it;
• object to, or ask us to limit, how we use it;
• withdraw your consent at any time.

To use any of these rights, email us at info@sellyourcarquicker.com. There is no charge, and we will reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please contact us before you go to the ICO.
